Rooted in Maryland since 2012, I find great joy in nature—practicing yoga in the woods, painting in the middle of farmland, or camping on the beach—and as often as possible with bare feet touching the earth. My artistic journey began with two great-grandmothers who nurtured my creative spirit, a legacy I now pass on through teaching art to children in summer camps and private instruction.

My paintings examine humanity's complex relationship with the land, particularly the interplay of beauty and environmental impact in Maryland's farming communities. And my drawings and collage work explore the intersection of my identity as a gay man and yoga practitioner, creating wholeness from fragments.

After earning a Bachelor's degree in fine art and art history from Hartwick College, I pursued graduate studies in interior design at both the Corcoran College of Art and Design and the New England School of Art and Design. Following a successful 15-year career in nonprofit fundraising, I redirected my energy to my twin passions: art-making and yoga instruction. Today, I divide my full time work between creating art and teaching yoga, discovering within myself a deeper connections between these two practices. I’ve had work exhibited in the DMV region, as well as Massachusetts, New York, and Wisconsin.

Community is important to me; I previously served on the board of Arts on the Block, supporting youth engagement in art, design, and business and am active in the DC Jewish Community Center. My personal mission to nurture creative growth and healing through excellence in yoga instruction, artistic practice, and compassionate mentorship; to cultivate inclusive spaces for self-discovery and transformation; and to foster authentic personal expression while deepening our connections to nature and community.
